Starter Brushes

Rick's offers 2- and 4-brush replacement sets for Mitsuba and Nippon Denso starter motors. If your starter cranks slowly or intermittently, worn brushes are the usual suspect , and a brush set costs a fraction of a new starter.

Note: brush replacement requires soldering or spot-welding the new brushes to the leads. If you'd rather not, check our complete brush plate repair kits instead.
